Complete actor Mohanlal's son Pranav Mohanlal is starring in the upcoming Malayalam horror thriller 'Dies Ire'. The makers have released a pronunciation guide to clear up the confusion surrounding the film's Latin title. The team has recently released an audio clip demonstrating the correct pronunciation ("D-S-E-Re").

The phrase means "Day of Wrath". It comes from a medieval Latin hymn about judgment and death. The film is set in the horror genre with a theme of haunting spirits. The title has been generating a lot of interest since the teaser was released in August.

Directed by Rahul Sadasivan of 'Bhramayugam' fame and produced by Night Shift Studios and Wynot Studios, the film also stars Pranav, 'Sookshmadarshini' actor Manohari Joy, and Jibin Gopinath, who has acted in films like 'Vaala', '2018', 'Phalimi', 'Kannur Squad' and 'Kishkindha Kandam'. 'Dies Ire' is set to release on October 31st, on the occasion of Halloween. It is one of the most awaited horror films of this year.
