With the success of 'Saiyaara', there is a huge craze for 'Dhadak 2'

The most awaited film in Bollywood is ‘Dhadak 2’. The film, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tripti Dimri, is scheduled to release on August 1, 2025. Despite rumors that the release date of the film will be postponed due to the huge success of the film ‘Syeyaa Raa’, the producers have clarified that there is no change in the schedule.

Producer Karan Johar recently assured fans that the film will release on the scheduled date. In a statement released by the production team, they stated that the positive response from the audience towards the Siddhant-Tripti pair is the reason for their confidence. However, the film will compete with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ at the box office.

‘Dhadak 2’ is directed by Shazia Iqbal and is a Hindi remake of the Tamil film ‘Pariyeram Perumal’. The plot revolves around the love story of a couple, Nilesh and Vidhi, who face challenges due to caste differences. This emotional drama is expected to win the hearts of the audience. The anticipation for ‘Dhadak 2’ has increased significantly after the recent blockbuster success of ‘Sai Yaaraa’ directed by Mohit Suri. The low-budget love story film stormed at the box office and became one of the highest-grossing films of 2025.
