Director Sekhar Kammula's latest film "Kubera" has achieved mixed results. Although it performed decently in Telugu, it failed to impress the audience in other languages. Especially in the Tamil version. It was a big disappointment in Tamil. Overall, the film could not become a blockbuster. Sekhar Kammula had high hopes for a pan-India success. Although the film received good critical acclaim.. the box office collection did not come at the level he had hoped.

With this.. it seems that Sekhar Kammula is re-evaluating his strategy for future projects. He is planning his next move more carefully. Instead of changing his filmmaking style for a pan-India appeal, Sekhar Kammula is expected to return to his core strength of simple, emotionally driven stories and films rich in soulful and popular music.

Sekhar Kammula is reportedly planning to give more scope to audience-pleasing songs in his next script. This has been a trademark of his past successes. He has already started talks with actor Nani for a new project. But this project is unlikely to go on the sets soon. Kammula will take more time to carefully write the script. Usually, he takes about a year for scripting and pre-production. This gap is perfect for Nani to participate in the shooting of “The Paradise”.
