The shooting of 'Drishyam 3' starts from then!

‘Drishyam’ is a very special Malayalam film starring complete actor Mohanlal. This movie is one of the highest grossing films at the Kerala box office. What kind of risk did George Kutty, a middle-class family man, take to save his family? What kind of consequences did he face? It is known in what range the films ‘Drishyam, Drishyam2’ released so far have been successful. And now the third part of this series is coming.

After much speculation, it has finally been officially confirmed that the shooting of ‘Drishyam 3’ will start in October 2025. Aashirvad Cinemas, which is producing the film, shared a short video with fun moments with hero Mohanlal, producer Antony Perumbavoor, and director Jeethu Joseph and revealed this update. The Drishyam franchise, which started in 2013 and continued with a sequel in 2021, is expected to conclude with this third installment. Details of the returning cast and crew are yet to be announced.

‘Drisyam 3’ marks the fifth film in the collaboration of Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph. The duo has previously worked together in the films ‘Drisyam, Drishyam 2, 12th Main, Neeru’. They are currently working on a global thriller called ‘Ram’. But the project was halted midway due to production issues. Jeethu Joseph is currently busy shooting for ‘Valadu Vasatte Kallan’ starring Biju Menon and Joju George. Also, ‘Miraj’ starring Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali is in the post-production stage.

Mohanlal will next be seen in the multilingual period epic ‘Kannappa’, which is scheduled to release on June 27. In Malayalam, Sathyan is acting in the film 'Hrudayapoorvam' directed by Antikkad, which is scheduled to release during Onam this year.
