Shruti Haasan is going to make an international entry!

British psychological thriller "The Eye" starring Kollywood beauty Shruti Haasan in the lead role. It is premiering in India on February 27, that is today.The film will be screened as the opening feature at the 5th Wench Film Festival to be held in Mumbai. Directed by Daphne Schmon, the film will bring Shruti Haasan international recognition as an actress.

Shruti will be seen in the role of Diana in this movie. She decides to travel to the island where her husband Felix accidentally died and spread his ashes there. But with that journey, her life takes unexpected turns.Shot on location in Athens and Corfu, the film showcases the beauty of the Greek islands and provides a stunning backdrop for the thrilling moments of the story. On the occasion of the Indian premiere, Shruti Haasan said, "Psychological thrillers have always been a genre that fascinates me.Acting in 'The Eye' gave me a new experience," she said.

Director Daphne Schmon said, "I dedicated 'The Eye' to my family's home island of Corfu. Moreover, it is a story that explores the psychological emotions of grief."While the Indian audience is interested in this film, expectations are increasing on the release date of the film after the premiere in Mumbai.
