'Sardar 2' shooting completes 100th day!

Tamil action star Karthi and Tamil brilliant director P.S. Mithran are teaming up for the action thriller ‘Sardar 2’. The shooting of this film has completed its 100th day on Monday. Unit sources have revealed that the shooting of this film has reached the final stage. Cinematographer George C. Williams shared a photo on his Instagram page with the director Mithran holding the camera on his shoulder.. He posted it with the caption “Directing the director. Handheld filming. 100th day shoot Sardar 2”.

In a special interview given earlier, P.S. Mithran said, “Only five to ten percent of the shooting is left. Dubbing is also happening side by side..” He said. Interestingly, in the prologue, Karthi is seen fighting with a Japanese katana sword. Mithran clarified that this is a scene that takes place in China. “Karthi has good practice in sword fighting from the movie ‘Ponniyan Selvan’. Therefore, less training was enough for these scenes...”

During the announcement of ‘Sardar 2’, Karthi was shown being sent to Cambodia as a spy. Has the story shifted to China now? Responding to the question, Mithran said, “First the story goes to Cambodia. Then it shifts to China,” he said. In the recently released prologue, it was revealed that S. J. Surya is playing the main villain. His character’s name is Black Dagger. In this film, along with Karthi, S. J. Surya, Rajisha Vijayan, Malavika Mohanan, Ashika Ranganath, Sajal Ahmed and others are playing important roles.
