Samantha in two big movies?

Tollywood beauty Samantha Ruth Prabhu had earlier said that she would start producing another film under her own banner.. but there have been no updates since that announcement two months ago. Recently.. she has been in the headlines more for her rumored relationship with director Raj Nidimoru than for her film career. Now, according to reports coming in the media and social media, two directors are considering her for their big projects.

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj is reportedly planning to introduce a female lead in his Lokesh Cinematic Universe for “Khaidi 2”. While Karthi was the only lead in “Khaidi” released in 2019… there were no female roles. But.. the sequel will have a strong female role, and Samantha’s name is being heard as a top contender. Also, there is talk that director Buchi Babu is considering hiring Samantha for a special song in his film “Peddi”.

After creating a sensation with the song “O Antava Maava” from “Pushpa: The Rise”, Samantha has not appeared in another item song till now. However, Samantha is yet to officially sign for “Khaidi 2” or “Peddi”. Earlier, speculations linking her with Allu Arjun for an Atlee film have turned out to be wrong. It remains to be seen whether she will get one or both of these two projects.
