Rishabh in historical roles!

Hero-cum-director Rishab Shetty, who created a sensation across the country with the movie ‘Kantara’, is now continuing that success and making the prequel ‘Kantara Chapter 1’. The latest making video released by the makers regarding this movie, which has already completed shooting, has gone viral. Rishab’s comments in this video that ‘Kantara is not a movie, it is our history’ are impressing everyone.

Now.. Rishab Shetty has been putting mythological and historical films in line with ‘Kantara Chapter 1’. After ‘Kantara’, he is going to entertain with the biopic ‘The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’. Rishab will be seen in the role of Shivaji in this movie directed by Sandeep Singh, which is scheduled to release in January 2027. The movie is being made with the aim of introducing Shivaji’s life to the present generation.

'1770.. Ek Sangram' movie. Rishabh will be seen in a powerful role in this film, which is based on 'Anandamath' written by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee. The film will be directed by 'Akasavani' fame Ashwin Gangaraju.

Rishabh will also be seen in the role of Sri Krishnadevaraya, the leader of the Vijayanagara Empire. The film will be directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. Ashutosh Gowariker has a unique style in directing such historical stories.

Along with all these, Rishabh is also acting in 'Jai Hanuman', which is being made as a sequel to the super hit movie 'Hanuman'.
