Jana Sena chief and AP Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan's comments on the Hindi language have become a topic of discussion. Speaking at the Jana Sena formation meeting recently, he said, 'They may be opposing Hindi in Tamil Nadu, but can they watch Tamil films without translating them into Hindi?'"There is no need to hate languages, multiple languages are good for the country," he commented.

Responding to these comments, actor Prakash Raj took to Twitter to sarcastically tweet, "Someone please tell Pawan Kalyan that saying 'Don't force your Hindi language on us' is not hating another language, it is protecting our mother tongue and our mother with self-respect."

Prakash Raj has previously countered Pawan Kalyan's comments on several occasions. There was a war of words between the two on issues like Tirumala laddu and Sanathana Dharma. Now the Hindi language issue has brought a new dimension to this argument.
