Pooja Hegde is back in Telugu after three years!

Pooja Hegde, who once again mesmerized the audience with her energetic dance moments in the song 'Kanika ' from Suriya's 'Retro' movie... recently revealed in an interview why she took a break from Telugu films after 2022. She also shared some interesting things about her upcoming new Telugu project.

"I wanted to try something new. I didn't want to do a film just for the sake of a film. I felt I needed a good character and a strong story. I didn't want to do projects that didn't have that excitement. That was the real reason, nothing else," Pooja explained. She says that she has received offers from Telugu films even during this gap.

Currently, Pooja is getting good opportunities in Tamil and Hindi languages. She has decided to come before the Telugu audience again this year. Talking about her upcoming Telugu film, Pooja said with a smile.. Now I have signed a Telugu film again. Once the shooting dates are fixed.. I will tell you the full details," she hinted.

Pooja recently made her debut with the Hindi film 'Deva' opposite Shahid Kapoor. She will soon be seen opposite Varun Dhawan in the film 'Hai Jawani To Ishq Hona Hai'. Pooja is now preparing to entertain her fans once again with the gangster action drama 'Retro', which will be released on May 1. The film, set in the 1980s, is directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Suriya, Joju George and Prakash Raj are playing important roles.
