'Peddi' breaks 'Devara's' record

Global star Ram Charan's 'Peddi' movie first glimpse is taking social media by storm. Within 24 hours of its release, the glimpse has garnered 31.15 million views and is trending at number one on YouTube. Moreover, it has set a record for the most viewed glimpse video in a single day in Telugu cinema.

 Earlier, this record was held by NTR's 'Devara' glimpse (26.17 million). But the glimpse released by the makers of 'Peddi' surpassed that record in just 18 hours. Although it has taken the lead in terms of views, 'Devara' is ahead in terms of likes. While Devara's glimpse got over 7 lakh likes, 'Peddi' glimpse crossed the 4 lakh mark.

Directed by Buchi Babu of 'Uppena' fame, Janhvi Kapoor will be playing the female lead in this film. Shivraj Kumar, Divyandu, and Jagapathi Babu are playing key roles. Mythri Movie Makers, Vriddhi Cinemas, and Sukumar Writings are jointly producing this big-budget film. 'Peddi' is going to be released grandly on March 27 next year as a Charan birthday special.
