New release date for Sonakshi's movie!
Bollywood's talented beauty .. Sonakshi Sinha's psychological thriller 'Nikita Rai' has been postponed. The film, which was initially scheduled to release on May 30, will now hit the theatres on June 27, Sonakshi confirmed on social media. "Mark your calendar. Our thrilling thriller Nikita Rai has a new release date. Enjoy the suspense in theatres on June 27, 2025..." Sonakshi wrote on her social media handle.
Nikita Rai, directed by Sonakshi's brother Kush Sinha, is his directorial debut. This psychological thriller stars Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal and Suhail Nayyar in key roles. The film is produced by Nikki Bhagnani, Vicky Bhagnani and Ankur Takrani under the banners Nikki Vicky Bhagnani Films, Kratos Entertainment and Nikita Pai Films. Anand Mehta, Prakash Nand Bijlani, Shakti Bhatnagar, Mehnaz Sheikh and Prem Raj Joshi are co-producers.
The psychological thriller completed a 35-day shooting schedule in London this year. Talking about the shooting experience, Sonakshi said, "It was a great shoot experience. It was very special for me to act in my brother's debut film. The amazing cast in the film made me even more excited. It was an honour to work with Paresh Ji for the first time. The shoot was challenging and therefore even more enjoyable." Along with Nikita Rai, Sonakshi is making her Telugu film debut with the supernatural fantasy thriller 'Jatadhara'.
