'Mahabharata' may be my last project: Aamir Khan
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is busy promoting his upcoming film ‘Sitare Zameen Par’. It is a sports comedy-drama that is a sequel to the movie ‘Taare Zameen Par’. The film is set to hit the theatres on June 20. Along with Aamir Khan, the film also stars Genelia Deshmukh and some other actors in key roles.
Speaking on a podcast, Aamir shared some interesting things about ‘Mahabharata’, which he considers to be his last film. He said that the production of this mega project will begin after the release of ‘Sitare Zameen Par’. Calling Mahabharata his “dream project”, Aamir said, “This story is very complex, emotional, vast, amazing. ‘Mahabharata’ has every aspect of this world…”.
The 59-year-old actor-producer said that the depth and complexity of ‘Mahabharata’ gave him unprecedented artistic satisfaction, and he may not have the desire to tell more stories after it. “After Mahabharata is over, maybe I won’t feel like doing anything else. I’m not sure yet,” he says, reflecting on the emotional impact of the project.
