'Krrish 4' movie delayed further?

Hrithik Roshan and Rakesh Roshan's combo movie 'Krrish 4' is one of the most awaited films in Bollywood. The fourth installment of this superhero franchise has been postponed several times.While filming was supposed to begin in the second half of 2025, according to the latest information, it seems that ‘Krrish 4’ has been postponed again to 2026. Moreover, it is reported that director Siddharth Anand has opted out of the project.

According to Bollywood sources, the main reason for the delay in 'Krrish 4' is budget issues. Hrithik Roshan has reportedly entrusted producer Siddharth Anand with the responsibility of approaching the studio for the project.However, it seems that major film studios in India are not interested in spending a huge budget on ‘Krrish 4’. In this era of increasing influence of Marvel movies, and with the Krrish series having been on hiatus for a decade, studios are not ready to spend a huge budget, a close source revealed.

However, it is reported that Siddharth Anand and his production company Marflix have walked away from the film. However, another group has denied the reports, saying that the "excessive budget estimates" in the press are just false information.According to the latest reports, Hrithik Roshan and Rakesh Roshan are in direct talks with leading studios in India. ‘Krrish 4’ will be produced under the Filmcraft banner. On the other hand, Marflix will be stepping away from the project and focusing on other films.A new team will be selected soon and the budget will be reviewed again. As soon as this is completed, Krish is likely to move on to 4 sets.

In a recent interview, Rakesh Roshan revealed that an official announcement on ‘Krrish 4’ is likely to be made by the end of this year. It remains to be seen when this long-awaited superhero franchise will move forward in a new direction.
