Kartik Aaryan's fantasy movie 'NaagZilla'

Popular Bollywood producer Karan Johar has announced a different film from his Dharma Productions. The film, which will be made with the variety title "Naagzilla", will feature Kartik Aaryan in the lead role. The film is scheduled to release on August 14, 2026. Mrugdeep Singh Lamba, known for the "Fukrey" series, is directing the film. This film is Kartik's second project with Dharma, the first being "Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri". Also, this film is being jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Mahavir Jain Films.

Karan released the first look of the film with a motion poster. In it, Kartik is seen shirtless and looking backwards with a green snake skin body. This dark fantasy film suggests an adventurous mode. Karan joked in his caption that "Premavadeshwar Pyare Chand" will hit the theatres on the day of Naga Panchami.

While fans are excited about the announcement, some joked that the release date is far away, but the announcement was made too early. Karthik's new look and the film's different storyline have generated huge interest. Interestingly, Varun Dhawan's "Bhediya 2" is also scheduled to release on the same day, August 14, 2026. It remains to be seen whether these two films will release on the same day or one of them will be released on a different date.
