I won't do spy thriller movies anymore: Taapsee Pannu
Taapsee Pannu's Bollywood film "Naam Shabana" has completed 8 years. Taapsee, who has proven herself by playing diverse roles, is one of the few heroines in Bollywood who has chosen the action-spy thriller genre. Her performances in films like "Pink", "Baby", and "Naam Shabana" have clearly shown her commitment to action roles. "Naam Shabana" is an interesting spy thriller. Taapsee has brilliantly performed strong action sequences in it. The story of the film revolves around a young woman named Shabana, who joins a spy agency. After undergoing training, she sets out to kill a dangerous arms dealer.
Taapsee revealed that "Naam Shabana" was made because of the great response to the film "Baby". "Seeing the response to my role in the film Baby, the directors planned a film based on the character of Shabana, that is, Meera. Actually.. it is neither a sequel nor a prequel," she said. Akshay Kumar also praised Taapsee's commitment to the film. "She gave an amazing performance in Pink. I was amazed by the action scenes she did in the film Baby. I have never seen a heroine who does such a complete action. She is truly an inspiring person."
Talking about the spy thriller genre, Taapsee said that she does not want to do this type of film again. “Spy thriller films were not in trend at that time. Now everyone is choosing that genre. But I did it then. If I do it again now, it might seem like I am doing the same thing and doing the same type of film. It was very special at that time. There is no need to reduce its importance by doing it again,” she said.
As for her latest films, Taapsee is once again entering the action-thriller genre. The film "Gandhari" in which she plays the lead role is set to release this year. In it, she will be seen as a mother who fights to save her kidnapped son. By doing all the action scenes herself, she is trying to portray the real emotion in the mother's mind on screen. This film, which is a mix of emotions and action, will give the audience a powerful experience.
