I am saddened by the media's behavior - Manchu Lakshmi

It is known that Tollywood actress Manchu Lakshmi was questioned by the ED last month (August 13) in the case of promoting banned betting apps. The authorities have already questioned several film personalities Rana, Vijay Deverakonda and Prakash Raj in this case. Recently, Manchu Lakshmi responded to this issue.

Lakshmi said, "It is ridiculous to question the last person in this case. Where did these apps actually start? Who is running them? Why can't they identify their origins?" She also expressed dissatisfaction with the media's attitude and commented, "What we faced in the investigation was one thing, but the media highlighted something else. That is very painful."

She revealed that the ED is investigating the issues of where the money from betting apps comes from? Where is it going? Is it reaching terrorists? "I don't know any of this. They said that 100 people promoted these apps, and I was among them. That is why I went for the investigation. It was a matter of a minute," she explained.
