Gorgeous beauty to play a key role in ‘Kesari: Chapter 2’

The most awaited Bollywood movie ‘Kesari: Chapter 2’ starring Akshay Kumar is set in the lead role. Beautiful Ananya Pandey has been officially selected for a key role in this movie. On March 28, the film unit announced this and released a motion poster introducing Ananya Pandey in the role of ‘Dilreet Gill’. This period drama is based on the events that took place after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.

Dharma Productions shared the poster on social media introducing Ananya's character... "The world needs to know about the atrocities that happened there." In it, Ananya is seen as a lawyer in a white saree. Her character is described with the caption "A heart full of compassion, a dedication to justice." Celebrities like Ananya Pandey's friends Navya Nanda, Suhana Khan, her mother Bhavana Pandey, and actor Sanjay Kapoor's wife Maheep Kapoor expressed their joy over the announcement.

The official teaser of ‘Kesari: Chapter 2’ was recently released. The film is based on the book ‘The Case That Shook the Empire’ written by Pushpa Palat and Raghu Palat. The film, jointly produced by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films and Leo Media Collective, stars Ananya and R. Madhavan in key roles. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on April 18, 2025.
