Details of Gaddar Awards announced!

The Telangana state will host the film awards after 14 years with the aim of bringing respect to the film industry. The state government has taken a key decision to honour the best Telugu films. The Chief Minister has decided to institute these awards in the name of the renowned folk artist, poet and social activist Gaddar. Through this program, the aim is to recognize and honor talented artists and technicians in the Telugu film industry.

Film personalities have already expressed their happiness over this decision taken by the government to promote the best talent in the film sector after the formation of the Telangana state. A jury committee headed by famous actress Jayasudha has been formed to oversee this awards program. Other celebrities, technicians and critics from the film industry are also members of this committee.

The details of the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards will be announced at 10 am today by the Chairman of the Awards Committee Jayasudha and the Chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation Dil Raju.
