All set for a film festival in Telangana..!

After the formation of Telangana state, a new chapter is beginning in the film industry. The ‘Gaddar Telangana Film Awards’ program to be held at Hitex in Hyderabad tomorrow will be a wonderful celebration for film celebrities and film lovers. It is noteworthy that the celebration of film awards is starting again in the state after 14 years. The Telangana government is organizing this ceremony with great prestige.

After the formation of Telangana state in 2014, the Nandi Awards held in Andhra Pradesh were stopped. Due to this, many great films, actors and technicians in the Telugu film industry remained unrecognized in the last decade. To fill this gap, the Telangana government has established the Gaddar Film Awards. Establishing these awards in the name of the public poet and revolutionary singer Gaddar brings more significance to this ceremony.

The Gaddar Awards are being presented for films released from 2014 to 2024. The government, which has been considering films since June 2, 2014, when Telangana was formed, will present awards to three best films a year from 2014 to 2023. Also, awards will be presented in all categories for the year 2024.

The Gaddar Film Awards ceremony will be held on Saturday evening at the Hitex venue with grandeur. CM Revanth Reddy, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, and FDC Chairman Dil Raju will be present at the ceremony.

Prominent actors, directors, producers, and technicians from the Telugu film industry are attending the ceremony. Stars like Balakrishna, who will receive the NTR Award, Allu Arjun, who was named the best actor for the year 2024, and Vijay Deverakonda, who will receive the Kantha Rao Award, will be the star attractions at the Gaddar Awards ceremony.
