Talented Bollywood actor Vidyut Jammwal is all set to make his Hollywood debut. He will be seen in the live-action film ‘Street Fighter’, based on Capcom’s popular video game series. The film is being directed by Kitao Sakurai, who is known for his films ‘Bad Trip’ and ‘Aardvark’. Vidyut will be playing the role of Dhalsim, who made his debut in 1991’s ‘Street Fighter II’.

Dhalsim is a peaceful yogi, known for his flexible body and the ability to breathe fire from his mouth. He fights in tournaments to protect his family. The film also stars actors like Andrew Koji, Noah Centineo, Kalina Liang, David Dastmalchian, Cody Rhodes, Jason Momoa, and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. More details about the plot will be revealed soon.

Street Fighter has become the most successful video game franchise since its inception in 1987. The game sees different fighter characters compete in a tournament organized by the villain M. Bison. Vidyut Jammwal is known for his high-octane action films like the ‘Commando’ series, ‘Khuda Hafiz, IB71’. He was last seen in the action-thriller ‘Krack – Jeetega... To Jeetega’, which released in 2023. But the film failed at the box office.
