Vicky Kaushal in the biopic of the legendary director?

Vicky Kaushal's name has been mentioned in the discussion about who is the right actor for the role of Guru Dutt. The producers feel that Vicky Kaushal can effectively portray Guru Dutt's emotional depth. The production house has revived Guru Dutt's cinematic milestones like Pyaasa, Kaagaz Ke Phool, Chaudhvim Ka Chand Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam and screened them at the Cannes Film Festival.
