'Veeramallu' ticket bookings heat up

The period action drama 'Hari Hara Veeramallu' starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role is set to hit the screens in a few hours. The bookings for this highly anticipated film began on Tuesday, and the premium seats were sold out in a short time due to the rush of fans.
The Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments have allowed ticket prices to be increased. While the paid premier ticket price in AP is Rs.600, recliner/sofa seats have crossed Rs.1000. Although the balcony ticket is Rs.830 and second class is Rs.790, booking charges are additional. In regular shows, multiplex tickets are priced at Rs.495 for royal seating and Rs.377 for executive seating. In single screen theatres, the balcony has been fixed at Rs.250 and first class at Rs.150.
Although paid premieres have not yet started in Telangana, the prices for regular shows are showing royal seating at Rs.500, executive at Rs.413, balcony at Rs.300, and front circle at Rs.200. The government has allowed the increased prices for the first 10 days only.
Advance bookings have started in over 500 screens in the US. US distributor Pratyangira Cinemas announced that $450K (approximately Rs.4 crore) has already been collected. In Bengaluru, Rs.1 crore was collected from 23,000 tickets sold on the first day.
Directed by Krish and Jyothikrishna, the film is produced by renowned producer A.M. Ratnam. Nidhhi Agarwal and Bobby Deol play other important roles. M.M. Keeravani's music, Thota Tarani's artwork, Manoj Paramahansa's and Gnanasekhar's cinematography are the main technical highlights of the film.
