This weeks box office buzz!

The last week of April is practically a testing season for Telugu films. With the heat on one side and the hustle and bustle of IPL cricket on the other – in this tough competitive environment, films are stepping up their game to lure audiences to the theatres.

After 'Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi' and 'Odela 2', which were released amid huge expectations last week, failed to impress as expected, buyers and audiences have new hopes for this week's movies. 'Sarangapani Jathakam', starring Priyadarshi as the hero and directed by Indraganti Mohanakrishna, is attracting the attention of comedy lovers.

The promotional content is good and it seems to have the right mix for success. Along with Priyadarshi, two other comedy stars Vennela Kishore and Viva Harsha are also going to make a splash in key roles in this film. Roopa Koduvayur has acted as Priyadarshi's partner. 'Sarangapani Jathakam' is coming to the audience on April 25.

Director Trinadha Rao has become a sought-after producer with 'Chaurya Paatam'. The trailer looks like an innovative fun ride. Trade sources believe that if the content is strong, it can achieve success through word of mouth.

This week, many dubbed movies and re-releases are coming to the audience. As for dubbing, Mohanlal's 'Thudarum' is coming from Malayalam on April 25. Also, the movie 'Gymkhana', which has already become a hit in Malayalam, is coming to make a hit like 'Premalu'.

As for re-releases, films like Mahesh Babu's 'Okkadu, Bharat Ane Nenu' and Rajinikanth's 'Baasha' are set to be re-released this week. Overall, it remains to be seen how the films coming out this week will make an impact at the box office. On the other hand, Nani's 'Hit 3' is set to hit the screens next week on May 1.
