This is the highest-grossing film of 2025!

Reports say that the Tamil movie ‘Tourist Family’, directed by debutant director Abhishan Jeevinth, has become the highest-grossing film in India in 2025. The movie has collected around Rs 90 crore from theaters worldwide. Made on a budget of just Rs 7 crore, the movie has made a profit of around 1200 percent.

This critically acclaimed drama stars Shashi Kumar and Simran in key roles, while Kamlesh Jagan, Mithun Jaishankar and others play supporting roles. Yogi Babu, Ramesh Tilak, MS Bhaskar, Elango Kumaravel, Sreeja Ravi, and Bhagavathy Perumal appear in supporting roles. The movie ‘Tourist Family’ mainly depicts the story of a family migrating from Sri Lanka and living in Tamil Nadu. The film, which explores human relationships and resilience with a story that promotes love and brotherhood across borders, won the hearts of the audience.
