Kamal Haasan's 'Thug Life' is one of the most eagerly awaited films at the Pan India level at present. Directed by legendary director Mani Ratnam, this film is set to release on June 5. Trisha, Simbu, Nassar, Abhirami play other key roles. The film is being released in Telugu by N. Sudhakar Reddy under the banner of Shreshth Movies.

Kamal Haasan's speech at the latest grand pre-release event organized in Vizag impressed the audience. 'I have done 15 Telugu films. Out of which 13 films were successful. You gave those successes. I gave flops.. This is true,' he made interesting comments.

Kamal Haasan also said, 'I came to Vizag for the first time at the age of 21. At that time, no one knew my face. But after the film 'Maro Charitra', a fan base was formed here that did not let me walk anywhere. I have done films like 'Sagara Sangam' and 'Shubhasankallam' here. The people here treated me like a family member,' he recalled.

Kamal Haasan said that the audience has forgotten some of the bad films he has done and only remembers the good ones, and said, 'The honest work of an artist is to give a good film. 'Thug Life' is such an attempt. I am waiting for your reaction. Because your response is my heartbeat.'

Simbu said, 'Telugu audience always appreciates a good film. I am sure you will like this film,' he said. He said that the song sung for Pawan Kalyan in 'OG' will be released soon. Trisha said, 'Even after 22 years, your love will never change. You will remember the role of 'Indrani' in this film.'
