The stunning Vizianagaram set for 'Peddi'!

Ram Charan and Buchi Babu Sana's combo movie 'Peddi' is being made as one of the most expensive projects in Tollywood. The story of this movie has been designed to offer substance while touching on the mass appeal in the rural setting of the 1980s. Ram Charan will be seen as a firebrand rural hero in this movie. In a role that will sway the mass audience, he looks like a character with the scope to deliver a performance with depth.
As for the production.. it is at the next level. The town of Vizianagaram on the outskirts of Hyderabad is being transformed into a live replica. Don't think that this is just a set. It also includes roads, a railway station, and a sports stadium that will remind you of the vibe of the 80s. Art director Avinash Kolla is leading this huge set. Every detail.. every brick, every wall.. has been carefully planned to recreate that era feel. Inside talk is that.. The budget for this movie, which was initially estimated at Rs. 250 crores, has now crossed Rs. 300 crores.
Buzz is that Netflix has acquired the streaming rights of this movie in the range of Rs. 105-110 crores. This has become one of the top OTT deals in Telugu movies. Moreover, Netflix is not just buying the rights, but is also actively involved in the planning and marketing of the movie. It is going to be released on March 27 next year as a special birthday for Ram Charan. Fans have already started the countdown.
While Janhvi Kapoor is playing the heroine, Kannada star Shiva Rajkumar, senior actor Jagapathi Babu, and Bollywood actor Divyanshu Sharma will be seen in key roles. Oscar winner A.R. Rahman is working magic in terms of music. He has already prepared four tracks. In short, everyone's focus is now on the Vijayanagaram being built in Hyderabad for the movie 'Peddi'. Even though it is artificial, it is creating a real vibe.
