The role of Shiva moved me a lot: Satyadev

Talented actor Satyadev is riding high on the success of his recently released gangster drama “Kingdom”. Starring Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role and directed by Gautham Tinnanuri, the film has captured the hearts of the audience with its compelling story and deep emotions, showcasing the emotional bond between two brothers. Satyadev played the role of “Shiva” in the film, and this character received a good applause from the audience.

Speaking about the response to the film, Satyadev said, “I have never received so many calls and messages from so many people in my career. The love from the audience has been non-stop since the first show. When Gautham told me the story, I didn’t think for a second. I immediately said okay. The role of Shiva moved me a lot.”

Interestingly, this role was written keeping Satyadev in mind. “Gautham later said, ‘You are my first choice for the role of Shiva.’ Even though the team looked at other options due to some delays, it felt like destiny that I got this role,” he recalled. Compared to his previous hit films, “Kingdom” achieved a huge reach instantly due to its scale and Vijay’s fanbase, Satyadev said.

Talking about the boat sequence in the film, he said, “I don’t really know how to drive a boat. Vijay trusted me completely. We missed a few times. But.. after intensive practice, the scene came out perfect..” he said with a laugh.

Satyadev showered praises on Vijay Deverakonda. “I was not familiar with Vijay before the film. I got to know him well during the shooting. He is a very nice person, friendly. His talent is amazing.. I was surprised by his ability to grasp things quickly..” he said.

Talking about upcoming projects, Satyadev is on a busy schedule. His web series “Arabian Kadali” will be streaming on Amazon Prime from August 8. Also, the movie “Full Bottle” is ready for release. He is also working on new projects with director Venkatesh Maha.
