The decision to close down the theaters was postponed

The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce has announced that the decision to close Telugu cinema theatres has been postponed indefinitely. The decision to temporarily suspend the closure of theatres from June 1 was taken at a joint meeting of key stakeholders in the Telugu film industry, including producers, distributors and exhibitors.

It is understood that a comprehensive discussion was held in this meeting on the challenges facing the industry and various issues related to film releases. In particular, the difficulties faced by the Telugu film industry in recent times due to OTT platforms were discussed. The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee meeting will be held in Visakhapatnam on the 30th of this month for a more extensive discussion on this issue.
