In this context, the recent resignation of prominent producer and distributor Sunil Narang from the post of president of the Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce (TFCC) is creating a sensation.

What is noteworthy is that Sunil Narang, who was elected as the president, resigned within 24 hours of his election. He released a letter to this effect. He stated in the letter that public statements are being made using his name without his involvement and that he does not like being involved in such matters. He said that it is impossible to assume the responsibility of the president in such circumstances, which is why he is resigning immediately.

The theaters' bandh, the Harihara Veeramallu controversy, and the problems between producers and exhibitors are already seriously affecting the industry. Moreover, the lack of unity among the members of the Film Chamber and the controversial comments made by the TFCC Secretary at a recent press meet – all these seem to have contributed to Sunil Narang's decision.
