SSMB29 targets Oscar

Superstar Mahesh Babu and director Rajamouli are teaming up for a pan-world movie called SSMB29. Although the shooting of the movie has already begun, Jakkanna is paying special attention to maintaining secrecy on the sets, as there has been no official announcement regarding the story. Rajamouli, who touched the Oscar stage with the movie RRR, is reportedly trying to nominate the movie SSMB29 directly in the Hollywood category this time. For this, it seems that he is in talks with a Hollywood production house to jointly produce the movie. Rajamouli, who felt that his chances were decreasing since an Indian movie had to compete in the Oscars only under the 'Foreign Category', is reportedly changing his game plan this time.

Currently, the production responsibility is being handled by producer K.L. Although Narayana is managing the film, Jakkanna is planning to bring in a Hollywood company as the main production house. He is confident that this will increase the chances of the film in the prestigious categories of the Oscar nominations.

The latest is that the leading Tanzanian newspaper ‘The Citizen Tanzania’ has published a special article about the film. According to the details revealed by them, the film unit will reach Tanzania in the third week of July and undertake location scouting in the Serengeti Jungle. After that, the next schedule will be held in South Africa. Along with Mahesh Babu, Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra and Malayalam star Prithviraj are playing key roles in this project.
