Salman's movie with Malayalam director?

After the failure of ‘Sikander’, Salman Khan surprised everyone by announcing that he is going to do a film called ‘Battle of Galwan’ with director Apoorva Lakhia. However, Apoorva Lakhia has not had a single commercial hit in the past. However, Salman has entrusted him with this war-themed film. Before starting the shooting, Salman is now in talks with several directors to finalize his next project.

According to the latest information, Salman is in talks with talented Malayalam director and editor Mahesh Narayanan for a period thriller. Mahesh Narayanan is the director of award-winning films like ‘Take Off’ and ‘Ariippu’. Mahesh shared many ideas with Salman. It is reported that Salman is interested in a period thriller set between 1970 and 1990 with action elements.

Salman is reportedly looking to step out of his comfort zone and explore new genres that will challenge him as an actor. If Salman gives the green signal to Mahesh Narayanan, the project will go on the sets in 2026.
