Rishab Shetty is a rare filmmaker with vision and versatility: NTR

The pre-release celebrations of “Kantara: Chapter 1” were recently held in Hyderabad on a grand scale. The presence of NTR as the chief guest was the highlight of the event. Speaking on the stage, director and lead actor Rishab Shetty said that he was very happy with the love shown to him by the people of Telugu states. “I feel like I am at home,” he said. “It is very heartwarming that so many people are coming..” He said.

He thanked NTR wholeheartedly for dedicating his time to this event. NTR, who has recently recovered from an injury, spoke fondly about the folk tales told by his grandmother when he was a child. “I was always curious to know about those tales. What is this Guliga dance? Who are the Panjurlis? I felt like I had to see them at least once in my life. That curiosity had been in me for many years, and it was satisfied with Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara’,” he said.

Appreciating Rishab Shetty's talent, NTR praised him as a rare filmmaker with vision and versatility. He said that Rishab has a good command over every aspect of filmmaking, not just direction or acting. The movie "Kantara Chapter 1" is set to release on October 2.
