Ranbir Kapoor replaces Ranveer Singh

Bollywood legendary director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been working on the script for almost two decades on his dream project 'Baiju Bawra'. Bollywood media reports that this film is finally going to be made. Ranbir Kapoor will play the lead role in it.

An important meeting was held recently between Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Although this film was initially planned with Ranveer Singh, the director has now decided to do it with Ranbir Kapoor. Recently, on the occasion of Ranbir Kapoor's 43rd birthday, it is reported that he gifted 'Baiju Bawra' to him. The pre-production work of 'Baiju Bawra' has also begun.

This film is a remake of the 1955 film 'Baiju Bawra'. In fact, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ranveer Singh had been in talks about this project for years. However, the reasons for replacing Ranveer Singh with Ranbir Kapoor are not known. 'Baiju Bawra' is a musical film revolving around two singers. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is currently directing 'Love and War' starring Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt.
