The Telugu film industry is once again being plagued by the threat of piracy. While a series of big-budget films have been pirated in recent times, the Cyber Crime Police have recently taken key steps. A young man named Kiran Kumar from Andhra Pradesh was arrested in Hyderabad. He was found to be committing piracy by recording films on his cellphone on the first day of their release and uploading them on social media. Officials have revealed that about 65 films have been pirated so far.

Producers have suffered huge losses due to the impact of piracy on films like 'Game Changer, Kannappa'. In this context, the police, who stepped into the field, arrested Kiran with a special investigation. Several pieces of evidence were seized from his house. The police, who believed that there were more people behind the piracy network, are continuing their investigation in that direction.

Producer Dil Raju also responded to the latest incidents. He commented, 'Gangs that are selling a film for 400 to 1000 dollars should give the industry an axe to grind.' Film circles believe that strict legal action is needed against piracy, which is becoming a scourge for Tollywood.
