Nayanthara in court case again

The documentary based on the marriage of South lady superstar Nayanthara, "Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale", is in the news once again. But this time the reason is not congratulations - again copyright disputes.
Recently, the Madras High Court has issued notices to Netflix and Torque Studios. AP International, the company that produced the film, has approached the court, alleging that behind-the-scenes footage of the film Chandramukhi was used without permission. Despite sending legal notices, there has been no response and they have demanded a compensation of Rs. 5 crore. The court has ordered the parties concerned to respond in this case within two weeks.
This is not the only one. Another case has already been filed by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films. They allege that a three-second clip from the 2015 film Naanu Rowdy Dhan was used without permission. A case has been filed against Nayanthara, her husband Vignesh Shivan and their company Rowdy Pictures, seeking Rs 10 crore in damages.
With two copyright disputes looming, the documentary has now shifted from being widely praised to facing legal challenges.
The documentary, which was made to make a wedding memorable, is now caught in the crossfire of court cases.
