We often see loan companies taking extreme measures to recover old dues. The Madras High Court's recent order to take possession of a property belonging to Tamil film legend Sivaji Ganeshan has become a topic of discussion.According to the latest information, this issue is caused by Eason Production Company. This institution is run by Shivaji Ganesan's grandson Dushyant and his wife Abhirami. This production company has taken a loan of Rs.3.74 crore from Dhanabhagyam Enterprises. However, 30% interest per annum was agreed for this loan.

But this loan was not repaid by the production company. Hence, the lender started legal proceedings and approached the Madras High Court. The Madras High Court has appointed former Supreme Court judge T. Ravindran to look into this case.

The preliminary investigation conducted by him revealed that the creditor needs to get just compensation. Due to late payment, the total due is Rs. 9 crores has increased.

With this, the court ordered the seizure of Shivaji Ganesan's property. This property is located in Chennai. If the debt is not settled immediately, the property is likely to be auctioned. So far no official statement has been issued by any of the concerned persons on this matter.The development has become a hot topic in the film industry due to the loan taken by the production house belonging to Shivaji Ganeshan's family. It remains to be seen how the final settlement of this case will take place.
