Mohanlal's 'Thudarum' to hit OTT

This year, legendary Malayalam hero Mohanlal's films 'Empuraan' and 'Thudarum' have achieved huge successes at the box office. Although 'Thudarum' was not expected at the beginning, it unexpectedly shook the box office and became the first Rs. 100 crore grosser in Kerala. The film, which received excellent reviews from critics, has been gaining strength day by day with the support of the audience.

'Thudarum', which created dust in theaters, is now available on digital streaming platform Jio Hotstar. The film is streaming in Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada with English subtitles from today. While a 5-week window has been set for the theatrical run, industry sources believe that the film is likely to register strong views on OTT as well.

'Thudarum' was directed by Tarun Murthy. Shobhana played the role of Mohanlal's wife in it.. Prakash Varma, Farhan Fazil (Fahaad Faasil's younger brother), Manianpilla Raju, Binu Pappu, Irshad Ali, Arsha Chandni, Baiju played key roles. Critics praised each actor's role as having a deep impact on the story... and their performance added more strength to the film. The film was produced by renowned producer M. Ranjith under the banner of Rejaputra Visual Media. The music for the film was composed by Jakes Bijoy.
