Malayalam film ‘Narayaneente Moonnaanmakkal’ to hit OTT

The Malayalam family drama film ‘Narayaniinte Moonnan Makkal’ (Narayani’s Three Boys) was released in theatres on 7 February 2025. Directed by Sharan Venugopal, the film received mixed reviews at the box office.However, this is good news for the audience who were waiting for this movie to be released on OTT! The movie is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

The story of the film revolves around the lives of three brothers. The eldest is Sethu (Joju George), the second is Viswanathan (Alencier Lopez), and the youngest is Bhaskaran (Suraj Venjaramudu). Due to personal differences and pride, the distance between them has grown.Sethu, who lives in their ancestral home in Koilandi (Kozhikode) and is engaged in maternal service, is reunited after many years when their mother falls into a coma. The younger brother, Bhaskaran, has settled in the UK with his wife Nafisa. Viswanathan, however, remains in India.As soon as they meet again, old resentments and misunderstandings resurface. Sethu, who is single and unmarried, also faces pressures from society.

This family reunion brings out their hidden wounds and emotions. How did they come forward to face the past and resolve old differences? Did their bond survive this situation? The answer to these questions is the story of the film. The film is written and directed by Sharan Venugopal.Joby George Tadathil is the producer.
