Madras High Court issues notice to ‘Hit 3’ team

The Madras High Court has issued a serious notice to the team of the film 'Hit 3'. They have been ordered to respond to the plagiarism allegations by July 7, 2025. What is the reason for this controversy? The scriptwriter, Vimalavelan alias Vimal, is claiming that he sent a synopsis to actor Nani many days ago and that the story was copied in 'Hit 3'. According to Vimal, the basic script of the film matches his story exactly.

Vimal has filed a case against Nani, director Shailesh Kolanu and the producers of the film in the Madras High Court on this issue. The interesting twist is that Vimal claims to be a big fan of Nani. He said that he registered his script with the South Indian Film Writers Association on August 4, 2021, and then sent the synopsis to Nani on August 8, 2022. He was hoping to do some projects with Nani. But now he is stuck in this mess.

Now Nani's team, Sailesh Kolanu, and the producers have to present their arguments in court. It remains to be seen what clarity they will give on these allegations. The movie 'Hit 3' was released in theaters on May 1, 2025. The movie gave a mediocre performance at the box office with average collections. But the movie is getting more highlighted due to this controversy. We have to wait and see how this case will go and how Nani's team will react.
