'Kotha Lokah' is shaking up the box office

"Kotha Lokah" is a Malayalam fantasy horror drama starring Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead role and produced by Dulquer Salmaan. Made on a budget of just Rs. 30 crore, the film crossed the Rs. 100 crore gross mark within a week of its release.

Released as "Lokah" in Malayalam and "Kotha Lokah" in Telugu, the film is continuing to be a blockbuster in Kerala and has collected around Rs. 6 crore in Telugu in just one week. The strong collections on working days also bode well for the film's long run. The film has already surpassed the collections of lady-oriented movies like "Mahanati, Rudramadevi, Arundhati, Bhagamathi" to become the highest grosser of all time.

Directed by Dominic Arun, the film, starring Naslen and Sandy in key roles, was released in Telugu by renowned producer Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments. If the second week's run is also strong, "Kotha Lokah" is sure to create another new milestone.
