Actor Joseph Vijay, alias Thalapathy Vijay.. is facing his biggest political setback since launching his party TVK. Three days ago, 40 people, including children, were killed in a stampede in Karur, Tamil Nadu. The incident led to a major uproar and political storm in the state. Actress Kayadu Lohar, who is popular for films like 'Dragon' starring Pradeep Ranganathan, was reported to have tweeted that she had lost her friend in the Karur incident and questioned Vijay in harsh language. There was a big uproar over this. However, Kayadu Lohar later clarified. She denied that the Twitter account that was posting in her name was fake and that she had not made the comments that were going viral. She wrote:

"The Twitter account circulating in my name is fake. I have nothing to do with it, those statements are not mine. I am very saddened by the tragic incident that took place at the Karur rally. My heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased. However, I want to make it very clear that I have no personal friends in Karur. Please do not believe this false propaganda being spread in my name and do not circulate it."

This is the second time that Kayadu Lohar's name has been dragged into Tamil Nadu political controversies. Earlier... a party leader... DMK people had alleged that she was paid Rs. 30 lakhs for one night. Later he retracted that statement. Kayadhu Lohar had earlier acted opposite Sri Vishnu in a Telugu film called 'Alluri'. Now she is getting a good recognition in the Tamil film industry.
