Kandula Durgesh's condolence on Kota's death

Tourism, Culture and Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh expressed deep condolences on the death of veteran actor Kota Srinivasa Rao. "The death of the great actor Kota Srinivasa Rao, who has earned a special place in the Telugu community, is a huge loss for the film industry," the minister said.
Kota, who made his mark in many different roles such as a villain, a comedian, a father and a politician, was praised as a great actor who acted in more than 750 films. The minister said that Kota Srinivasa Rao is the actor who has filled that gap after the generation of SV Ranga Rao, Kaikala Satyanarayana and Rao Gopala Rao.
Kota Srinivasa Rao, who has acted in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam, has done justice to every role in his four-decade film career and his performance will be memorable, the minister said. Kota, who has acted alongside top heroes like Krishna, Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, and Venkatesh as well as young heroes, has received many awards and has also been awarded honors like the Padma Shri.
