It is known that Kamal Haasan's film 'Thug Life', which is scheduled to release on June 5 with huge expectations at the pan-India level, has been caught in unexpected controversies. During the promotions held in Karnataka, Kamal Haasan's statement that Kannada was born from Tamil caused a stir. While this was seen with pride in Tamil Nadu, it was taken as a matter of concern in Karnataka. This took an unexpected turn.

When Kamal was asked about his comment, he continued his trend of saying, 'I said the truth, why should I say sorry?'. The unexpected victim in this affair is Shivraj Kumar. Videos of Shivanna applauding Kamal's speech at the 'Thug Life' event are going viral with anti-fans. With this, criticisms are being made against him saying, 'Did he put the honor of Kannada on the back burner?'

Responding to this, Shivraj Kumar said that he respects all languages, but Kannada is his mother tongue. Shivanna seemed to lose patience with the question, 'If someone deliberately slanders me, should I apologize as a responsibility?'

The Karnataka Film Chamber and several politicians have taken a clear decision against the screening of the film 'Thug Life'. The unavailability of Karnataka tickets on Book My Show is proof of this. Now there are indications that everything will turn into a big loss in terms of business.
