Kamal and Ayushmann invited from Oscar Academy

Indian film luminaries have been honoured in the world's most prestigious film academy, the Oscars. Legendary actor Kamal Haasan, Bollywood young sensation Ayushmann Khurrana, talented director Payal Kapadia, as well as Indian film talent like Maxima Basu, Ranveer Das, Karan Mali and Smriti Mundra have been invited as members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

According to the latest list released by the academy, a total of 534 new members have been selected for the year 2025. A special highlight of this list is that 41 percent of these new members are women. All these new members will be part of the crucial voting process in the Oscar Awards process.
