Isn't Chiru's 'Vishwambhara' releasing this year?

Megastar Chiranjeevi's "Vishwambhara" has been in the production stage for the past year and a half. But the visual effects related issues in this project are giving a lot of headaches. The team, realizing that the quality of the VFX work completed initially was not good at all, decided to reshoot all those shots. This is causing a lot of delay in the production schedule, which means that it will take a long time for the film to hit the theaters.

The latest buzz is that the release of "Vishwambhara" will be delayed further. Chiranjeevi is currently working on another film with director Anil Ravipudi. It is scheduled for a grand release on January 10, 2026 during the Sankranthi season. But since "Vishwambhara" still has a huge amount of CG work pending, industry insiders estimate that there is a chance that the film will hit the screens in the summer of 2026 itself. This means that fans will have to wait a little longer for this visual extravaganza.

Director Vashishtha, who gained a lot of craze with the movie “Bimbisara”, is directing this film. The team is planning to make “Vishwambhara” a huge visual spectacle, which is why their target is to achieve perfection in all technical aspects of this film. UV Creations is producing this big budget project. This is a prestigious venture for them as well. Trisha and Ashika Ranganath are playing the heroines in the film.
