Interesting facts about the movie 'Kannappa'!

‘Kannappa’, which was planned as a small film ten years ago, is now coming to the audience as a huge pan India project. Two films have been released in the Telugu film industry with the story of Kannappa before. Kannada Kanthirava Rajkumar and Rebel Star Krishnam Raju have enjoyed great success in the roles of ‘Bhakta Kannappa’.

Actor and writer Tanikella Bharani thought of making a film with the story of ‘Kannappa’ once again and prepared the story. Tanikella planned ‘Kannappa’ with Sunil as the hero on a small budget. However, after the story went to Vishnu, the budget increased drastically. The scope of this script was greatly increased with several writers. ‘Mahabharat’ serial fame Mukesh Kumar Singh has been fixed as the director of this film under the production of Mohan Babu.

The regular shooting of this film started in 2023 and most of the shooting was done in New Zealand. Vishnu's son Avram, daughters Ariana and Viviana, and Mohan Babu also acted in this. It is special that three generations of the Manchu family are seen on screen.

Along with Prabhas, Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, stars like Sarath Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal played key roles in this film. Comedians like Brahmanandam, Saptagiri and Raghubabhu were also part of this project. And.. Vishnu gave every update from the first look to the trailer on time.

The length of the film has been reduced from 195 minutes to 182 minutes as the censor board has suggested 12 cuts. When it comes to the budget, this is a project of Rs. 200-250 crores. However, it is a special matter that Prabhas and Mohanlal have not taken remuneration. Vishnu, who had already issued legal warning notices against the trolling before the release of the film, has clearly shown his attitude towards this film.
