Hoped for that big project : Srinidhi Shetty

Heroine Srinidhi Shetty, who has remained in the minds of the audience with the ‘KGF’ series of films, is now making her debut in Telugu. She is making her debut in Tollywood through ‘Hit 3’ starring Nani as the hero. The film is set to release on May 1. Some of the comments made by Srinidhi during promotional events are now becoming a topic of discussion.

Srinidhi Shetty said... “I was really hoping for a big project in Bollywood. After watching my screen test, they said they were satisfied. But in the end, they didn’t give me a chance.” The project Srinidhi mentioned is… the huge multi-starrer ‘Ramayana’ being directed by Nitesh Tiwari. In this film, Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of Rama and Sai Pallavi is playing the role of Sita. Srinidhi also gave a screen test for the role of Sita. However, she herself is explaining why she was not selected.

“I was not given that role. Because I acted alongside Yash in ‘KGF’. The same Yash is now playing Ravana in Ramayana. The makers felt that the audience might not accept seeing two people who first appeared as a love couple on the same screen, and then one as Rama and the other in a role that is opposite to Ravana,” said Srinidhi.

However, she responded positively and praised .. “I am happy that an actress like Sai Pallavi has got such a role. She is really the right person for the role.” After ‘Hit 3’, Srinidhi is all set to entertain the audience with another Telugu film. She is playing an important role in the film ‘Telusu Kadha’ starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda as the hero.

Srinidhi Shetty has shown her talent in the Kannada industry so far. Now she is coming forward with the ambition to win the hearts of the Telugu audience. Even though she did not get a Bollywood opportunity, she has not lost her confidence. She said that she will try again for new opportunities. If a talented woman like Srinidhi Shetty has come to the Telugu industry.. that victory is the audience.
