Highlights of the Gaddar Awards!

It is known that the Telangana state government has taken a key decision to promote the film industry. The government led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has decided to introduce the prestigious 'Gaddar Awards'.Many film personalities were not able to get due recognition for their talent due to the Andhra Pradesh government not continuing the Nandi Awards after 2013. The Telangana government will now fill that gap and select and honor the best films from previous years.

While the acceptance of applications will begin from March 13th, the distribution of awards will also be extensive. Not only actors and technicians, but also feature films, films reflecting national integration, children's films, environmental conservation, heritage,Gaddar Awards will be presented to films based on history.

Moreover, these awards will be given in the categories of first feature film, animated film, film with social impact, documentary and short film. Analytical essays and books written on cinema, as well as actors and technicians who have played a key role in the industry will also be honored.It has been decided to continue the awards in the names of Jayaraj, Kantha Rao, and M. Prabhakar Reddy, who are from Telangana.
