Film workers oppose two proposals

Another key meeting was held today in the backdrop of the ongoing strike by film workers in Tollywood. 24 affiliated trade unions met together under the auspices of the Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation in a united forum. Producers Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao, and Nattikumar attended this meeting. Also, Film Employees Federation President Anil Vallabhaneni, Secretary Ammiraju, and leaders of various unions participated.
The federation leaders explained the conditions set by the producers in the general meeting of the trade unions. While the producers proposed a total of four conditions, two of them were discussed the most. They are.. Implementation of flexible call sheets, and application of double call sheets only on second Sundays-government holidays.
The trade unions are strongly opposing these two proposals.
Moreover, the film workers have anointed CM Revanth Reddy's film map, demanding that their problems be resolved quickly. A meeting of federation leaders with representatives of the Film Chamber will be held today at 4 pm. Film circles are hopeful that the ongoing strike issue may come to a head through these discussions.
